Being a proud military veteran, Marines, Ernest had much pride in his commitment to provide quality DOT compliance services to the transportation industry.
The credit to his legacy in state and federal government transportation compliance can be seen in the various DOT enforcement and compliance programs employed today by Kentucky, Tennessee, and the FMCSA (US DOT).
Ernest decided to provide his wealth of experience in transportation safety and compliance knowledge to the private sector. In 1986 he founded Mann Consultant Services and grew it to one of the largest DOT consultant and transportation safety management practices within KY and TN.
